ENERGO-PRO held a training practice for students from Gorna Oryahovitsa

ENERGO-PRO welcomed students from the Vocational High School of Electrical Engineering, Bulgaria. Gorna Oryahovitsa. With their visit to the educational center of the electricity distribution company, the children were given the opportunity to expand their training and gain practical knowledge in the field of energy in an environment close to the real one.
During their visit, the future energy engineers, through ENERGO-PRO employees in the role of lecturers, got acquainted with the structure and purpose of the training center and examined the equipment in the training rooms. The visit also included practical classes on the basic rules for safe working with electrical equipment, first aid to a victim of electric shock, training on climbing a steel grid pole and demonstrations of various types of power equipment, power lines, cable heads and armature.
As part of the training, the students also visited the High Voltage Laboratory of ERP North, where the young people learned more about the main types of material testing and specialized protective equipment.
The children were also introduced to the opportunities to participate in the internship program of ERP North, which has already started and is active throughout the academic year 2022/2023. It is designed for students in the 12th grade, graduating from specialties in the field of energy. The internship in the company is within 40 hours per month, is paid and takes place on a flexible schedule, tailored to the school hours and leisure time of the student. A large part of the visiting youth took the opportunity and immediately submitted documents for inclusion in the program. The children, together with their supervisor, parted with thanks for the useful training and with a promise to visit the training center again in the spring of next year.
