What is ENERGO-PRO for society?
Conditions and criteria for evaluating applicants

The project should be in one of the six thematic areas announced: support of educational initiatives, preservation of the environment, construction of environmental values, sustainable development of the urban environment, energy efficiency, safe use of electrical appliances and power facilities.

The project should not just need funding, but form values and attitudes for sustainable change for the benefit of the local and national community.

The project will benefit the local community and ensure a long-term impact.

Priority is given to projects that are innovative and introduce new practices in the relevant fields, supported by the ENERGO-PRO for society programme.
What are the objectives of the ENERGO-PRO initiative for society?

We protect nature with concrete actions
Beneficiaries can be kindergartens, schools, universities and municipalities throughout the country. The Management Board of ENERGO-PRO will determine which projects receive funding.
The maximum funding that a project can earn is BGN 5,000. Projects may be co-financed by third parties.

The evaluation of projects is carried out according to the following criteria:
- The project forms values and attitudes for sustainable change;
- It has a long-term effect and benefit for the local community;
- The project is innovative;
- The objectives are achieved effectively;
- It has a concrete, measurable result and solves a specific problem.
Each criterion carries 1 point upon execution.
The final score is formed by weighing the points by criteria and obtaining a sum of the weighted scores.
A project is not considered if it does not fall within one of the six thematic areas.
Yes. The program does not support:
- Medical treatment of private persons;
- Charitable initiatives;
- Coverage of current liabilities;
- Projects of a religious or political nature;
- Projects of trade unions and business organizations;
- Projects of private individuals;
- Projects contrary to company policies.
Between 3-6 months
Participation with more than one project is allowed.
