Project “Communication for Everyone” in DG “First June”

With funding provided by the “ENERGO-PRO for Society” initiative, in Special Group of DG “First June”, Bulgaria. Gabrovo, low-tech and high-tech devices were purchased that improve and increase the communication skills of children who find it difficult to use oral and written language.

Integrated learning is a process in which a child, regardless of the type of disability, is included in the general educational environment. This is ensured through the construction and functioning of a supportive environment, which includes appropriate architectural and socio-living conditions, individual educational programs, a team for complex pedagogical assessment, special teaching and technical means and equipment, didactic materials and aids.

The implementation of the project enables non-verbal children to achieve significantly higher levels of autonomy and reduce their need for assistance in carrying out communication. Children are given the opportunity to express desires, needs, pain, fear or share their emotions. In this way, the child communicates effectively without being constantly dependent on his loved one to translate to others.

The use of technology encourages, delicately adjusts, encourages to new actions, awakens curiosity, inquisitiveness and a desire to complete the work begun to the end. Thanks to ENERGO-PRO, the needs of children with special needs are better met and there are more resources for everyone.
