A meteorological station was built in Sofia University “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” in Dobrich. It provides an opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and experience in one of the profiles of the educational institution - geography and economics, she added.

The new facility provides data on key meteorological indicators, such as rainfall amounts, cloud system, wind speed and direction, as well as atmospheric pressure parameters. The system is linked to a prognostic model through which a five-day forecast can be made. The facility is installed on the roof of the school and works with the Internet.
