New book houses and themed benches in the community center park in Durankulak

As part of the initiative, book houses have been installed in the community center park to encourage the free exchange of literature and promote reading among residents and visitors to the village. The project was made possible with the invaluable assistance of the mayor of Durankulak, Veselin Yordanov, who facilitated the installation of the structures.

Original book-shaped benches have also been added to the renovated space. They recreate two of the most significant chapters in the history of Durankulak: the peasant revolt of 1900 and the Great Island, one of the area's iconic landmarks with a rich historical and archaeological heritage.

With this new addition, the community center park becomes an even more attractive space for reading, socializing, and cultural initiatives, blending a love for books with a tribute to local history and heritage.
