ENERGO-PRO launched a project to change the reporting period, which will improve the quality of service and customer service
From the end of September, the meter reporting will be carried out by ENERGO-PRO employees
At the end of September, the electricity distribution company launched a large-scale project to change the way electricity meters are accounted for. The project is the result of in-depth internal analysis of the effectiveness of the current reporting method, as well as exploring the possibilities of reducing electricity losses through the implementation of modern technologies.
Until now, the metering accounting was carried out by a subcontractor company. From the end of September this practice will be discontinued and the report will be carried out by trained specialists of ENERGO-PRO. In addition to recording the readings of electricity meters, in which the work of accountants was limited until now, technically qualified employees of the company will now be able to take a stand on a specific problem indicated by the client who is within their competence.
In parallel with the reorganization of the electricity meter accounting process, ENERGO-PRO introduces balance metering of electricity. It is a technical way of tracking the amounts of electricity that are supplied to a substation and then distributed to the customers who are powered by it. The balance metering system makes it possible to locate the places where there are losses of electricity and, accordingly, specific measures can be taken. In order to carry out a balance measurement, it is necessary that the customers that are fed by a transformer station are reported on the same date with it. It is this that necessitates a change in the organization of reporting areas and optimization of the routes along which accountants move.
The aim of the project is to improve the efficiency and quality of the report, which inevitably reflects on the overall customer service. The project will contribute to the improvement of data processing activities and effective control of both the report and the status of the electricity meter and the meter board. In addition, the absence of an intermediary in this activity will give the company another opportunity for direct contact with customers and more effective communication.
Due to the change in the electricity accounting process, the reporting date will change for some of ENERGO-PRO's customers. It is no coincidence that the change is made during this period of the year, since traditionally the period of September and the beginning of October is characterized by the lowest electricity consumption and, accordingly, the effect of changing the reporting period on customer accounts would be the least. During this transition month, individual clients may have a longer or shorter reporting period than the standard reporting period.
It is extremely important that customers pay special attention to the period that covers their electricity bill in the month of October, which they will pay in November.
For customers for whom the reporting period will be shorter than usual, smaller bills are expected, since they will include consumption in a smaller number of days. The next reporting period will be standard, and the next account will cover about 30 days.
For another part of the clients, the reporting period in the first month of the project launch will be longer. In order not to bring this reorganization to inconvenience them and not to affect the process of planning electricity costs, the company has provided for the possibility of rescheduling the obligation. Any customer who has difficulty paying this bill could file a rescheduling request at the nearest customer service center.
Customer payment terms will not change and remain as before. For example, if a customer has a payment due on the 10th of the month, he will continue to pay his obligation until the 10th
Detailed information about their individual reporting date, as well as about the entire reporting change process, can be obtained from the company's website, on the phone 0700 161 61, at service@energo-pro.bg, as well as in the customer service centers.
