EPP North continues to update data on power provided for business sites

The company remains available to customers for further clarification on the project
Non-residential customers of Elektrodistribuenie Sever pay from July this year a price for access to the electricity distribution network depending on the power provided to them, and not according to the amount of electricity transferred. The new way of forming the access price, which has been approved by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, is applicable to the customers of all three major distribution companies in the country and is in line with European best practices.
Customers can use network resources more efficiently and optimize their costs by requesting the capacity they need according to specific business needs. For its part, Elektrodistribuenie Sever has the opportunity to more accurately forecast the need for investments in areas with a stated increased need for capacity.
The increase in the existing capacity is carried out according to the provisions in Ordinance No. 6, and the reduction is free of charge by filling out and submitting an application to the company by the owner of the relevant site. In cases where for a given period the customer has not consumed electricity at his facility, he receives an invoice with a calculated price only for access to the network. This access price, present as a component in the customer's invoice, ensures that the requested network capacity is kept for him. If a customer reduces by application the capacity for its site, Electricity Distribution North will have the opportunity to provide the released power in this part of the network to another customer who has requested increased capacity. Termination of the accrual of electricity costs for a non-working business unit is possible only after the closure of the metering point of the relevant customer site.
The project of EPR North for the implementation of the new pricing method is being implemented, supported by an information campaign on the company's website: https://www.erpsever.bg/bg/uslugi-i-ceni/promjana-na-syshtestvuvashta-moshtnost. Answers to the most frequently asked questions related to the campaign are published on the site. Customers who exceed the power provided to them will receive individual notification letters to optimize their consumption.
