The average electricity bill consumed in January by households in North-Eastern Bulgaria is BGN 56.11. This is shown by the data of ENERGO-PRO — the company that supplies electricity to more than 1 million domestic consumers in the districts of Varna, Shumen, Dobrich, Targovishte, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Gabrovo, Razgrad and Silistra. In the same period last year, the average value of invoices was BGN 48.54. The low temperatures in the first month of 2017 affected the average electricity consumption, which was about 15% higher than in January 2016 and 24.6% higher than the previous month of December. In the territory served by ENERGO-PRO, the average monthly temperature in the past month was 3.6 degrees lower compared to the same month of 2016.

A detailed review of ENERGO-PRO data shows that more than 60% of customers consumed electricity worth up to BGN 50. Another 18% have bills between BGN 50 and BGN 100, and 16% have consumed energy between BGN 100 and BGN 200. About 5% of all ENERGO-PRO domestic customers have bills over BGN 200 for the electricity consumed in January.

The indicated values are calculated on the basis of average consumption of domestic customers. The account of each individual customer depends on his individual consumption during the reporting period and to a large extent on the type of heating he uses.

Customers of the company can find out about the individual term for payment of their electricity bills from the website of ENERGO-PRO at the following address: http://www.energo-pro.bg/bg/Grafik-za-plashtane-na-elektroenergia, on the 24-hour phone 0700 1 61 61, in the customer center of the company in the territory of North-East Bulgaria, at any online cash desk of the partners of ENERGO-PRO — Bulgarian Post and Information Service or in the payment office a document on repaid obligations for consumed electricity from a previous period.

Customers of the company who have difficulty meeting their obligations on time can submit a request for rescheduling in the most convenient customer center for them. After considering each received request, the company's specialists will contact the client to offer him an individual rescheduling scheme.
