TRAINEES AT ENERGO-PRO continue their successful implementation in the company

The internship programs of ENERGO-PRO Varna under the operational program “Human Resources Development 2014-2020/ Youth Employment” are familiar to many young people in North-East Bulgaria. In addition to the opportunity to gain invaluable practical experience in an established professional environment, young people have a real chance to start their career path in the company.

“During the four years in which we have been active participants in the program, more than 70 young people have taken the opportunity to gain practical experience in their specialty with us,” says Svetlana Stoyneva, Director of Human Resources at ENERGO-PRO. “The energy industry is extremely interesting, but difficult to specialize, which is why there is a serious shortage of personnel. On the other hand, the nature of our work requires precise preparation, with which we cannot compromise,” she adds.

In the past year 2019, 11 of the candidates selected to join the ENERGO-PRO internship program have successfully completed their internship. The company considers the initiative a success, as more than 90% of the young people offered have accepted the positions offered to them. More than half of them are engaged in Elektrodistribuenie Sever.

In conditions where the issue of qualified personnel is problematic for all sectors of the economy, ENERGO-PRO stands firmly behind its commitment to annually provide an opportunity for active and ambitious young people to upgrade and expand their knowledge and skills in a real working environment. To this end, it will continue to offer trainee programs, trainings for graduates in partnership with vocational schools and summer training programs for schoolchildren and students.
