ENERGO-PRO invested 28 million leva in modern metering systems in 2016.
ENERGO-PRO continues to renew and develop the electricity distribution network on the territory of North-East Bulgaria. In 2016, the company launched a program for the construction of measurement systems worth BGN 19.2 million. Of these, BGN 10.5 million will be invested in the replacement of electricity meters and in the construction of new SMART systems for measuring electricity consumption. BGN 8.7 million is the planned funds for the replacement of electric meter panels and measuring transformers.
“The development of the electricity infrastructure is one of the main priorities of ENERGO-PRO along with the construction of the company's commercial structure. In 2015, we recorded a 17% increase in new accessions. In 2016, we will invest BGN 5 million in connecting new customers to the electricity distribution network in our licensed territory. We have also planned the construction of medium and low voltage facilities and the renovation of substations worth 4 million leva, “said the manager of ENERGO-PRO Varna Momchil Andreev.
In the last 10 years, the company has invested 550 million in renovation of existing and construction of new electricity facilities in North-East Bulgaria, in improving customer service. About 500 million went to the state budget in the form of taxes and fees. As a result of the investments made, more than 109,000 new customers joined, and technology losses were reduced from 22% to 12%.
