EPP North prepared the network in North-East Bulgaria for work in the autumn-winter period
In connection with the preparation of the electricity distribution network in North-East Bulgaria, carried out annually during this season, ERP North carried out the necessary technical and organizational measures and activities aimed at safe and trouble-free operation of the facilities. Inspections and maintenance of the substations owned by the electricity distribution company were carried out, 475 km of low voltage (LV) network were reconstructed, 2343 medium and low voltage poles were replaced and newly installed, 24 thousand liters of transformer oil were replaced, 8760 medium voltage (MV) insulators were replaced.
The company's investments from the beginning of the year to the end of October amounted to BGN 35 million, a significant share of which to improve the operation of the distribution network and connections. A significant part of the company's investments are for commercial metering devices and electricity meters, as well as in transport vehicles for servicing the network.
With the funds spent on repairing the HSC network, an improvement in the quality of the supplied energy has been achieved. The replacement of HN cable lines and the repair of overhead lines HN is a prerequisite for the elimination of any damage in a short time and increasing the security of electricity supply to the company's customers. Last but not least, investments are a prerequisite for reducing technological costs.
For the elimination of accidents on the electricity distribution network, the company has 391 teams. All team cars are equipped with personal protective equipment and tools. In crisis situations, there is an opportunity to regroup and redirect technical teams and equipment to the affected areas.
Through the events held, the facilities of the Company have been brought into compliance with the requirements of the Ordinance on Technical Operation of Power Plants and Networks, the Ordinance on the Arrangement of Electrical Systems and Power Lines and the Regulations on Occupational Safety.
