Today, August 13, 2013, a meeting was held between the Deputy Regional Governor of Razgrad Region - Mr. Ivan Borisov and Mr. Stefan Abadzhiev — Manager of ENERGO-PRO Varna.

During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation between the Razgrad Regional Administration and ENERGO-PRO for the benefit of the residents of the region were discussed. Mr. Abadzhiev informed Mr. Borisov about a number of serious challenges facing the electricity company after the price decision of the State Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (SVEC) of 1.08.2013.

With the new pricing decision, DKEVR has set a zero year for investments by electricity distribution companies, including ENERGO-PRO Grids AD. In this way, the company's ability to maintain and develop the electricity distribution network in North-East Bulgaria and to improve the quality of services is limited to a very large extent.

“Our main goal is to prevent the lack of investments from deteriorating the quality of the service we provide to our clients.”, said Stefan Abadzhiev.

During the meetings, current issues related to electricity supply in the area were discussed. The Manager of ENERGO-PRO Varna presented to the Deputy Regional Governor information about the investments made in the last years in the electricity distribution network on the territory of Razgrad district. The problem of the increasing debt of the water supply system “Meden Kladenets” — the city of Kubrat was also discussed.

Both sides share the opinion that the cooperation between ENERGO-PRO and the local government and the exchange of up-to-date information are extremely important for the timely resolution of the current problems that concern the residents of the district.

“We are aware of our responsibility and commitment to proactively inform and seek assistance from local and state authorities about the problems and challenges we encounter in our work. Our common goal is to work for the benefit of the public interest,” said Mr. Abadzhiev.
