Children's Choir “Dobri Hristov”, gr. Varna

ENERGO-PRO supported the participation of the Varna Children's Choir “Dobri Hristov” at the Municipal Children's Complex in the 13th edition of the World Peace Festival in the Austrian capital Vienna World Peace Choral Festival. The girls won the first prize and the gold medal.

The event is one of the most prestigious choral events. This year's edition was attended by 42 choral formations from 16 countries. For four days, the Varna girls — aged between 11 and 18 years — had 7 concerts.

They were invited to perform their songs at the opening ceremony of the festival at the Vienna City Hall, Rathaus-City Hall. Children with great desire prepared and participated in the initiative of the festival to sell donations to UNICEF in aid of children in need in Africa. They have given a series of concerts in:

• United Nations Headquarters
• famous churches in Vienna with 2 concerts entitled “Concerts for Peace”
• home for the elderly under the heading “Music connects generations”
• the concert hall of people of the Vienna Boys, where the competition was held
• the world-famous Musikverein Wien, where the Galaconcert and the award ceremony took place.
