116% growth of investments in Razgrad region is planned by ENERGO-PRO in 2018
Elektrodistribuenie North, part of ENERGO-PRO Varna group, plans a 116% increase in investments in electricity infrastructure on the territory of Razgrad district in 2018. This was announced by the CEO of ENERGO-PRO Varna Momchil Andreev at a meeting with the regional governor of Razgrad Gunay Husmen. Mr. Andreev presented the company's investment program for this year and with the regional manager Mr. Husmen discussed priority projects for the region, for which ENERGO-PRO will provide the necessary capacity of the electricity distribution network.
In 2018, Elektrodistribuenie North plans to invest BGN 3.5 million in reconstruction of medium-voltage power lines, in upgrading the equipment of node stations and sections of low-voltage network, in replacement of electricity meters and export of meter panels on the territory of Razgrad region.
In 2017, the company invested BGN 1.62 million in reconstruction, renovation and development of the electricity distribution network in the area. Rehabilitation was carried out at the “Senovo” and “Razgrad” interchange stations and at the “Vihar” substation in the town of Zavet. Key overhead power lines and cable lines have been renovated.
As a result of the invested funds, the quality and security of electricity supply to the final customers in the area increased and the possibility of connecting new industrial and domestic sites was provided. The number of interruptions in the electricity distribution network in 2017 decreased by 9% compared to 2016, and the duration of unplanned repairs in the same period - by 28%.
For the convenience of its customers, for the fifth year in a row ENERGO-PRO Varna has organized offices in small settlements, where customers can take advantage of the company's services without having to travel to the nearest Customer Service Center. In May of this year in Razgrad region, exported offices were realized in Isperih, Kubrat, Tsar Kaloyan, Samuil and Djankovo. On May 28, the mobile teams will also visit Loznica.
During the meeting, the joint work of the company and the law enforcement agencies in Razgrad to counter the theft of electricity was also discussed. In the last 5 years, 904 cases of illegal consumption have been found in Razgrad region. 25 of the violators have two or more registered violations. In the period 2015-2017 76 people were convicted on the territory of the district for illegal consumption of electricity, of which 1 was with an effective sentence, 25 were on probation, and 50 people were punished with probation.
The meeting of the Chief Executive Officer with the Regional Governor of Razgrad is part of a series of initiatives of ENERGO-PRO Varna to actively cooperate with the local government and unite the efforts to implement projects for the benefit of the people living in North-East Bulgaria.
