As of 7 pm today, 16 settlements in the districts of Silistra, Varna and Shumen remain without electricity. The teams of ENERGO-PRO will continue to work until the elimination of all damage to the electricity distribution network in North-East Bulgaria, which occurred as a result of the winter storm.
The deteriorating weather conditions and impassable roads due to snow cover impede the rapid elimination of the accidents that have occurred, since the specialists of the electricity distribution company cannot reach the damaged facilities.
The ENERGO-PRO teams receive the necessary assistance and assistance from the regional governors, mayors, regional road administrations and the units of DG “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population”, which organize cleaning of impassable roads and provide high-pass chain equipment. Priority cleaning of the road arteries necessary for access to the failed sections of the power lines is organized.
