Excavator cut off power supply in downtown Kubrat

The emergency teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids restored the power supply to more than 160 residents and companies in Kubrat after an unpleasant accident during excavation activities. During the repair of sewerage in the central part of the city, an excavator of a company - a contractor of the water cycle, damaged a 20kV cable that feeds the transformer substation “Lozina”.

The specialists of ENERGO-PRO Networks secured the damaged cable to carry out repairs. When it was restored, it was found that the other two cables providing the connection to other substations were also damaged. After the immediate action taken, the power supply of a kindergarten, numerous small businesses and domestic customers was restored within a few hours.
