ENERGO-PRO customers consumed nearly 10% less electricity during the period 24-28 December compared to the same days in 2013. This is shown by the data of the company, which supplies electricity to 1.1 million consumers in the districts of Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Ruse, Silistra, Dobrich, Razgrad, Targovishte and Shumen. During the five weekends around the Christmas holidays, the total amount of electricity consumed by ENERGO-PRO customers was about 82 thousand megawatt hours. In the same days of 2013, about 90,000 megawatt hours were consumed.

The most serious is the decrease in consumption in the districts of Dobrich and Ruse. In Razgrad region, there was a slight increase in electricity consumption during the holidays compared to the same period last year. According to ENERGO-PRO specialists, the likely reason for the lower electricity consumption during this year's Christmas holidays is the warm weather for the season.
