In June, Elektrodistribuenie North completed a project for the rehabilitation of the low-voltage electricity distribution network in the Silistra villages of Sokol, Lambrinovo, Babuk and Smilets. The realized objects are part of the investment and repair program of the company for 2022.

As part of the implementation of the planned projects for the renovation of the network, 126 reinforced concrete pillars have been replaced. The rehabilitation of air networks is associated with the installation of a new twisted insulated wire with a total length of almost 10 kilometers. It is highly resistant to bad weather conditions and will ensure a more secure and quality electricity supply to nearly 500 households in the four villages.

Distribution center Silistra to ERP North annually serves medium and low voltage air and cable lines with a total length of about 6,000 kilometers, including 629 substations. In the current year, the company has planned investments worth BGN 2.1 million in the area, including BGN 309 000 for repair works.
