Dozens of companies in the industrial zone of Dobrich with more reliable electricity supply

ENERGO-PRO teams in Dobrich have recovered a damaged medium voltage cable, which is part of the ring that supplies power to a large part of the enterprises in the industrial zone of Dobrich. The repair works were carried out according to the conclusion of Dobrudzhanski tekstil, supplying a total of 13 substations in the district city, on which the power supply of 44 companies depends. By the time of cable restoration, 9 substations were without backup power, and in the event of an accident, a large number of users were left without electricity. This created inconvenience to firms and additional costs for the company for repair work.

After a technical analysis of the facilities, the specialists of ENERGO-PRO undertook to replace the old cable with a new one. It is made using modern technology, it is more reliable under mechanical influences and has better insulation. With the restoration of the cable, the integrity and normal functioning of the power line is ensured. Thus, ENERGO-PRO ensures the stability of the electricity supply in the industrial zone of Dobrich, which ensures the normal functioning of the business in the area.

The replaced cable also allows power supply according to a backup circuit in the event of an accident in another part of the route. In the same area, a medium-voltage cable was also replaced between the Autopandosto substation and the Rodina node station. The company continues to carry out rehabilitation of the most vulnerable sections of the electricity distribution network, despite severe financial restrictions imposed in the last 2 years on the investment activity as a result of a series of pricing decisions of DCEVR in 2013 and 2014.
