The companies of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group announced their intentions to change the prices for network services and electricity supply
Elektrodistribuenie Sever AD and ENERGO-PRO Sales AD announced their intentions to ask the CEVR to approve legally determined price adjustments for network services and supply for the price period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
In accordance with the regulations, ERP North AD will request adjustments to the recognized costs for its activities. The adjustments will take into account the inflation index, the price for the purchase of electricity to cover the technological costs of the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange, the investment program and the costs caused by the changes in consumption. In the event that the EWRC approves the company's proposal, the average final cost of the electricity distribution company's network services would change by 2.20%.
The price application of ENERGO-PRO Sales AD will take into account the effect of the ongoing liberalization process in the market. The application will also include reasons on the need to recognize the full amount of costs with which the company fulfills its licensing obligations. ENERGO-PRO Sales AD will request recognition of the balancing costs in their real amount, as well as the costs that arise from imposed obligations under the Energy Efficiency Act. In the event that the CEFR approves the proposals made, the average final price for the household and business users of ENERGO-PRO Sales AD will change by 0.22%.
