The companies of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group announced their intentions for the upcoming pricing period
Elektrodistribuenie Sever AD and ENERGO-PRO Sales AD announced their intentions to ask the CEVR to approve legally determined price adjustments for network services and supply for the price period from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.
In accordance with the regulations, ERP North AD will request adjustments to the recognized costs for its activities. Adjustments will take into account the inflation index and the degree of implementation of the investment programme. In its application, Elektrodistribuenie North AD will propose to KEVR as of 01.07.2020 the price for access to the electricity distribution network of non-domestic (commercial) users to be determined on the basis of the provided power. In the event that the EWRC approves the company's proposal, the price of the electricity distribution company's network services would change by 1.57%.
The price application of ENERGO-PRO Sales AD will take into account the effect of the ongoing process of liberalization of the market and will contain reasons regarding the need to recognize the full amount of the allowance for the activity regulated in Art. 10, para. 5 of Ordinance No. 1 of 14.03.2017 on regulation of electricity prices. The application will also include reasons on the need to recognize the full amount of costs with which the company fulfills its licensing obligations. ENERGO-PRO Sales AD will request recognition of the balancing costs in their real amount, as well as the costs that arise from imposed obligations under the Energy Efficiency Act.
In the event that the CEFR approves the proposals made, the average final price for the household and business users of ENERGO-PRO Sales AD will change by 0.26%. Thus, the total increase for consumers in a regulated market will be 1.83%.
The increase is calculated at the current prices of all other regulated market participants. It does not take into account the price changes that these participants will offer.
