State compensation for the last three months will be reflected by ENERGO-PRO in the invoices for the month of September 2024.

According to the Government Program for Compensation of Expenses of Non-Household Final Customers for Electricity for the period from 01.07.2024 to 31.12.2024, ENERGO-PRO Sales will provide financial compensation to business customers for the months of July, August and September, in the electricity bills for the month of September.

The program provides for all non-domestic end customers to be fully compensated for the difference between the real average monthly exchange price for basic load of the “Day Forward” segment of the Bulgarian Independent Electricity Exchange (IBRD) for the respective months and the base price of BGN 180. /MWh. The compensation does not include VAT. In cases of customers with a price exceeding the base price of 180 BGN. /MWh, but less than the average monthly exchange price, compensation is paid in the amount of the difference between the price for energy and BGN 180. /MWh. Compensation for customers with prices below the base price of 180 BGN /MWh is not provided.

The average prices for basic cargo of BNEB, market segment “Day ahead”, are respectively 266.90 BGN. /MWh for July, 247.80 BGN /MWh for August and 209.16 BGN /MWh for September.
