ENERGO-PRO team prevented a serious accident in Svishtov
A team of ENERGO-PRO prevented a serious accident during a routine inspection at a transformer post in the district. “Stoyan Nikov” in the town of Svishtov. During preparation for each winter season, power distribution facilities are measured with an infrared camera to detect loose connections and poor contact joints. During the routine inspection, the electrical specialists found a transmission emergency situation in the transformer of the facility.
The transformer substation powers a residential block with 3 entrances, a gas station, a sewing workshop, a self-diagnosis center, a warehouse, etc.
After timely detection of the malfunction, the transformer is replaced with a new one in about an hour and a half. This prevented damage to the expensive facility, and the cost of its restoration was minimized.
