ENERGO-PRO Networks teams installed twisted insulated wires in the area of Byala, Ruse region, which are more resistant in harsh winter conditions

In order to provide more stable power supply to customers in the area of “Belenska Gora” in the area of the town of Byala, especially in the harsh winter conditions, when the air network is most vulnerable to atmospheric conditions, the teams of ENERGO-PRO replaced the low-voltage network in the area of the power line “Bistrentsi” and transformer substation “Gorski Kat” with more reliable twisted insulated wires. The renewed air network improved the power supply in the area, as these wires are more resistant to adverse weather conditions.

At the end of October, a snowstorm caused serious damage to the electricity distribution network along the route of the power line “Bistrentsi” in the area of the town of Byala, Ruse region. The trees attacked by the snow and the storm tore numerous wires, knocked insulators and hooks on the low-voltage network and left dozens of villas, chalets and restaurant “Forest Road” without power supply in the area.

The teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids from the town of Byala, in cooperation with the Municipality of Byala, which helped to clear the road to “Belenska Gora”, urgently went around the area and made an analysis of the damage. To eliminate them, all electricians from the town of Byala were mobilized, who worked hard to restore the damage from the winter element. All torn wires were replaced, as well as damaged and fallen insulators.

The residents of the area expressed their gratitude to the electricians from MIR Byala at the regional center of the company in Ruse for their professionalism and endurance in working in the harsh winter conditions.

Zhivko Brashnarov, the manager of the company “Sokol” at the Hunting and Fishermen's Union in the town of Byala, shared: “The teams of ENERGO-PRO, MIR Byala always respond in time to a signal of damage. The accident caused by the snow element was eliminated extremely quickly.”

In turn, the manager of the restaurant “Gorski Kut”, Kolyo Iliev expressed his satisfaction that thanks to the quick and adequate actions of the teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids, reliable electricity supply was provided in the area.

The replacement of the power grid in the area of the town of Byala with more durable twisted insulated wires guarantees a more stable power supply on the eve of the new winter season.
