ENERGO-PRO teams cleaned electrical wires from branches in the Targovica villages of Pevets and Dlugac

ENERGO-PRO teams cut down the branches of the trees, which were located in the immediate vicinity of the wires from the air network in the villages of Pevets and Dlugach, Targovishte municipality.

Maintaining the electricity distribution network in good technical condition involves constant activities that take place over a certain period of time, depending on climatic conditions, age of facilities and other factors. In addition to the regular inspections and inspections, which the teams of the power distribution company ENERGO-PRO Grids carry out annually, in many places where there is high woody vegetation, it is necessary to clean the electrical wires from the overgrown branches.

As the crowns of trees grow, the branches rest against the wires, in stronger winds they cause accidents and energy losses. Due to the recent frequent thunderstorms in the Targovishte region, the employees of the electricity distribution company promptly cut the branches, creating a risk of damage. These measures significantly increase the resilience of the electricity grid in the region to adverse climatic conditions and provide more stable electricity supply to the people in the villages of Pevets and Dlugac.
