ENERGO-PRO teams recovered a torn wire from a power line over a newly formed lake in Isperih municipality

Specialists of the electricity distribution company ENERGO-PRO Grids restored a wire torn by the strong wind in the Municipality of Isperih. The wire is part of the 20-kilovolt overhead cable line “Okorsh”, which supplies electricity to the villages of Todorovo and Kitanchevo, where 800 people live.

During the bypass along the route of the power line, the specialists found that the strong wind had torn a wire. To restore it, it was necessary to reach a pillar around which the abundant rainfall formed a lake.

Faced with the challenge of restoring the electricity supply to the people in the villages as quickly as possible in the difficult winter conditions, the ENERGO-PRO team analyzed the response options and took urgent action.

Local residents assisted the electricians by providing an inflatable boat with which to reach the pole. Thus, despite the unusual circumstances, the integrity of the torn wire was restored, as well as the power supply to the 800 residents of the villages of Todorovo and Kitanchevo. Showing determination and prudence, the team carried out the repair professionally, taking all safety measures during the work.
