ENERGO-PRO Grids teams continue to repair damage to the electricity distribution network in North-East Bulgaria
The deteriorating weather situation caused new damage to the electricity distribution network in Northeastern Bulgaria. As of 16:30 today, there are a total of more than 9 thousand customers without electricity in 79 settlements throughout the territory. The worst is the situation in Gabrovo region, where 62 villages are without electricity. There is a significant improvement in the situation in Ruse district, where 1 village remained (out of 16 villages in the morning), which is still without electricity. Electricity supply in 9 villages on the territory of Veliko Tarnovo region was restored. Meanwhile, new failures occurred that left 16 other villages in the area without power.
Since the first accidents on the network occurred, the teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids have been working continuously and restoring the electricity supply in various settlements, but strong wind, fallen snow and snowdrifts cause new failures in other areas. Regardless of the adverse weather conditions, the teams will continue to work until the final elimination of accidents.
