Heavy snowfall, accompanied by strong wind and icing, caused damage to the facilities of the electricity distribution network in Northeastern Bulgaria. As of 11:00am today, there are about 490 settlements without electricity in the districts of Dobrich, Silistra, Targovishte, Razgrad, Ruse, Shumen, Gabrovo, Varna and Veliko Tarnovo. The most complicated is the situation in Dobrichko and Silistra.

All 384 emergency teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids are mobilized to eliminate the faults that have occurred. However, their work is severely hampered by the extremely severe weather situation in North-Eastern Bulgaria, which in some areas continues to be complicated.

Due to closed sections of the road network, the company's accountants will not be able to report on schedule the electricity consumed by some customers. The readings of these electricity meters will be recorded at the first possible moment after the situation has normalized.

The management of ENERGO-PRO Networks is in constant contact with the district and municipal headquarters for disaster protection to synchronize actions. The company will redirect an additional resource to the areas with the highest number of failures. The ENERGO-PRO 24-hour telephone center 0700 1 61 61 is ready to take on the higher load.
