The emergency teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids continue to recover the accidents caused by the winter storm on the electricity distribution network in North-East Bulgaria even after nightfall. As of 20:30 today, less than 60 settlements in the districts of Silistra, Dobrich, Shumen and Varna are without electricity.

Since the beginning of Saturday, power supply has been restored in nearly 200 settlements. The deteriorating weather conditions and the many impassable due to snowy roads impede the rapid elimination of the accidents that have arisen, since the specialists of the electricity distribution company cannot reach the damaged facilities.

The teams of ENERGO-PRO Networks receive full assistance and assistance from the regional governors, mayors, regional road administrations and the divisions of DG “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population”, which organize cleaning of impassable road sections.
