ENERGO-PRO teams restored power supply to over 100 settlements in North-East Bulgaria

The strong wind, accompanied by rain and wet snow, caused a number of accidents on the power distribution network facilities in Northeastern Bulgaria. Since morning, ENERGO-PRO Networks teams have restored power supply to over 100 settlements in Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Targovishte, Varna and Dobrich districts.

The situation is developing dynamically, deteriorating weather conditions continue to provoke new breakdowns. As of 11:00am, there are 141 settlements in North-Eastern Bulgaria without electricity. The situation is most complicated in the districts of Dobrich and Gabrovo, where 95 and 28 places are without electricity, respectively.

All emergency teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids in the affected areas are mobilized to eliminate the faults that have occurred. In many areas, the work of specialists is hampered by the weather situation, which in some places is complicated.

ENERGO-PRO Networks maintains constant contact with the regional and municipal administrations in North-East Bulgaria for the exchange of operational information and synchronization of actions. The company is ready to redirect, if necessary, additional human and technical resources to areas where the situation is most complicated.
