ENERGO-PRO teams restored power supply to 48,000 customers in 144 settlements in the territory of North-East Bulgaria

ENERGO-PRO emergency teams restored power supply to 48,000 customers in 144 settlements in North-East Bulgaria. As a result of the hurricane wind, 73,000 customers were without power in 376 settlements in the territory of four districts in the pre-noon hours. As a result of the teams' efforts, at 15:00 the number of customers without electricity was reduced to 25,000 in 232 settlements in Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo districts. The situation in both areas remains dire. The strong wind and flying branches and objects caused numerous accidents on the facilities of the power distribution network. All emergency teams of the company are mobilized in the elimination of the damage. The Council for Crisis Management in ENERGO-PRO redirected 20 emergency teams from Ruse to Gabrovo district and 10 teams from Razgrad and Targovishte to Veliko Tarnovo district. The teams will continue to work until the full restoration of power to all customers.
