More than 98% of localized damage to facilities has now been remedied

Despite the adverse weather conditions and the two-meter presses in some mountainous areas, the emergency teams of ERP North will continue the activities to restore the electricity supply of dozens of villages in the Gabrovo Balkans, Targovishko and Gorna Oryahovitsa. Much of the accidents were fixed yesterday, but the snowy situation continues to cause problems as wet snow causes trees to fall on wires and causes new damage to facilities. More than 250 people (EPP North electricians, subcontractors and forestry workers) are doing their best to reach the affected areas. Despite the additional equipment provided yesterday, part of the affected power lines are located in crossed terrain and access to them is only possible on foot. The company's teams walk tens of kilometers to hard-to-reach places to make a detour and establish the exact location of the accidents, after which they undertake activities to eliminate the damage. In addition to power lines torn by wet snow and icing, there are also demolished reinforced concrete and iron lattice poles, the replacement of which requires more technological time.

EPR North continues to work in direct contact with the regional and municipal authorities to deal with the situation that has arisen as a result of the winter weather situation.
