Electricians from ENERGO-PRO cleaned the overhead power grid in the Dobrich village of Selce from branches to prevent accidents
The specialists of ENERGO-PRO Networks in Kavarna carried out pruning of tree branches in the village of Selce, Dobrich region. Cutting of branches threatening the integrity of power lines is done periodically to ensure a more stable power supply to consumers.
Harsh weather conditions are one of the main causes of interruptions in the network supplying end users. When branches grow from the crowns of trees, they bring the wires closer, in a stronger wind they become entangled in them and often break them, causing accidents. Thus, in addition to cutting off the electricity, the risk of deteriorating the quality of service to the company's customers is also created.
Maintenance and repair of overhead lines, depending on the nature of the work, is carried out with full, partial or without voltage shutdown. The activities are carried out in a complex manner and with the shortest possible duration of disconnection of power lines.
A proactive approach helps to reduce the frequency and duration of outages, and power restoration takes place in significantly less time in cleaned areas. With the periodic cutting of branches, a more qualitative and stable power supply is provided to residents in more remote settlements, where air networks prevail.
