Electricians from ENERGO-PRO participated in mass afforestation during the Forest Week in Gabrovo
For another year, the Week of the Forest united the inhabitants of Gabrovo in the care of nature conservation. Dozens of residents of Gabrovo participated today in afforestation of a forest massif near the village of Todorcheta. Electricians from the Distribution Center in Gabrovo of Elektrodistribuenie North, part of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group, also took part in the initiative.
The organizers of the “North Central State Enterprise” had provided the tree plants and the necessary tools for their planting. Expert foresters instructed volunteers how to plant deciduous tree species and at what depth they dig into the soil.
The forest has a special place in Bulgarian folk psychology and the care for its conservation unites people of different generations throughout the country. Forest Week has been celebrated in Bulgaria since 1925.
