Electricity Distribution North invests 640 thousand leva in reconstruction of the network in the municipalities of Provadia, Vetrino and Suvorovo

Within the framework of its repair and investment program for 2022, the electricity distribution company operating on the territory of North-East Bulgaria implements projects for reconstruction of the network in the Varna municipalities of Provadia, Vetrino and Suvorovo.

In the Provadia village of Barzitsa, ERP North carried out reconstruction of a low-voltage air network. The activities included the replacement of 50 reinforced concrete pillars and the installation of 7.5 kilometers of twisted insulated wire. In this way, the risk of power outages due to network failures will be limited and the quality of the supply voltage to the company's end customers will be improved.

The other completed project included a complete rehabilitation of the air network of a total of 13 substations located in the municipalities of Vetrino and Provadia. Two reclosers were also installed on the Sindell overhead power line, which will allow the teams of ERP North to locate accidents more quickly and will reduce the time of non-current breaks in operational switches and work requests.

The third object is in the implementation stage. It envisages reconstruction of the Stipsko power plant, providing backup power to the town of Stipsko. Suvorovo via connection between the substations Valchi dol and Dobrudja. The renovation will replace a wire in a 3 km section, as well as 8 reinforced concrete pillars and 150 insulators and consoles in a section passing through a hard-to-reach, wooded area. 5 new disconnectors will be installed, which will reduce the time to establish the location of faults on the network.
