Electricity Distribution North announces its intention to submit an application for price validation with the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission

On the basis of Art. 36a, para. 1 of the Energy Act (PE) and Art. 46 of Ordinance No. 1 of 14.03.2017 on regulation of electricity prices, “Elektrodistribuenie Sever” AD informs its customers that it intends to submit an application to the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (EWRC) for approval approval of new prices for the services access and transmission of electricity through the electricity distribution network from 01.07.2018.

In its application for price validation, the company will propose to EWRC, in accordance with Article 31, item 2 of the EA, to recognize the economically justified costs for carrying out the licensing activity and providing a quality service to its customers. The proposal of “Elektrodistribuenie North” AD provides for an annual investment program for the next three-year regulatory period in the amount of BGN 45 000 thousand, as well as adjusting the amount of technological costs and the rate of return to their current levels.
