The electricity distribution company in Northeastern Bulgaria has fixed a number of accidents on the electricity distribution network due to strong wind and snowdrifts, which led to icing of overhead wires.

The teams of Elektrodistribuenie Sever, part of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group, since yesterday afternoon restored the electricity supply to more than 50 settlements. The situation developed dynamically, and during the past night new breakdowns occurred. Today, work on electricity restoration continues in 14 settlements, of which 10 are in Dobrich district, 1 in Varna region, 2 in Silistra and 1 in Ruse.

Elektrodistribuenie Sever mobilizes its teams, equipped with equipment and equipment for operation in winter conditions. In some places, work is hampered by the complicated road situation. The company maintains constant contact with the regional and municipal administrations in North-East Bulgaria for the exchange of operational information and synchronization of actions.

Due to the deteriorating weather conditions in the last 24 hours, the company's accountants were unable to carry out the monthly metering in the villages of Poruchik Kardjievo, Shumentsi, Syanovo and Novakovo. The consumption of customers in these settlements will be recorded as soon as access to them is possible.
