The electricity distribution company of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group introduces a new schedule for accounting of consumed electricity
The change in the reporting schedule will lead to a change in the final dates for payment of electricity for the customers of the electricity supply company of the Group
The electricity distribution company serving North-East Bulgaria, ERP North, is planning a reorganization of its activity in the accounting of commercial metering devices. In this regard, there is a change in the schedule for reporting consumed electricity, as of July 1, 2021. For the introduction of a new reporting schedule, the company has sent notification letters to all state and local responsible institutions — the Ministry of Energy, the EWRC, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria and the mayors of municipalities in the licensed territory of Elektrodistribuenie Sever.
For the implementation of its large-scale project Electricity Distribution North chose the summer period, when traditionally the monthly electricity consumption is the lowest and the effect of changing the reporting dates would be the least. Thus, the reorganization of this activity of the company will take place with the least possible inconvenience to customers.
In the transitional period (May-June), an additional report of the means of commercial metering is planned for a large part of the customers of Elektrodistribuenie Sever. All traders who supply electricity to customers in the territory of North-East Bulgaria have been notified about the reorganization of the reporting activity undertaken by Elektrodistribuenie North. Each customer can receive information about the terms of payment from his electricity supplier.
The change in the reporting schedule will also lead to a change in the schedule of payment of electricity for the customers of the electricity supply company of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group. ENERGO-PRO Sales will make changes in the billing dates, as well as in the terms of payment of monthly obligations for consumed electricity to the domestic customers of the company, as of August 1, 2021. In the transition period (June-July), in order to prevent the issuance of invoices for consumption longer than 31 days, a large number of customers will receive one or two interim invoices for their electricity consumption, which will not lead to an increase in the amount owed by customers for the period and will be formed on the basis of the actual electricity consumed.
