The power supply of 19,000 customers in 137 settlements in North-East Bulgaria has been restored

ENERGO-PRO teams restored power to 19,000 customers in 137 settlements in North-East Bulgaria by 18:00 today. Numerous breakdowns on the power grid caused by the winter element were restored, but severe weather conditions continued to cause new, secondary failures.

By 6 p.m., there were 11,000 customers without electricity in 160 settlements. The worst situation continues to be in the distressed municipalities of Gabrovo and Sevlievo, where a total of 100 villages are without electricity. The situation is still complicated in the Veliko Tarnovo region, where 45 villages are without electricity. Significantly reduced the number of settlements without electricity in the districts of Shumen and Targovishte, where there are still 8 and 2 villages without electricity, respectively. The distribution company's teams continue to work at night to restore power to as many areas as possible.
