Power supply to more than 30,000 customers in 140 settlements in North-East Bulgaria has already been restored

The emergency teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids restored power supply to more than 30,000 customers in 140 settlements in Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte and Shumen districts. The villages were left without electricity today, due to numerous accidents that fell heavy, wet snow caused. The teams of the electricity distribution company restored dozens of torn wires and damaged insulators.As of 18:00 hours, about 60 villages are without power, and their number is constantly decreasing. Most of them are in the districts of Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo, 10 villages are in the territory of Targovishka region. These are settlements whose power lines pass through crossed, difficult to pass terrain. The most affected areas are in Gabrovo district, where ENERGO-PRO Networks today concentrated additional resources. The teams continue to work and eliminate the damage to the facilities of the electricity distribution network, striving to restore electricity to all settlements as quickly as possible. The company maintains constant contact and works in sync with municipal and district authorities.
