The hotel is another tourist site that runs entirely on energy from renewable sources

ENERGO-PRO Energy Services continues to attract the interest of Bulgarian businesses in the use of electricity produced entirely from renewable energy sources. Park Inn Sofia is another customer of the company, which will use energy obtained from renewable sources, thus providing its guests with an improved and sustainable product. The Special Certificate for Green Energy was awarded to the hotel manager, Mrs. Andrea Kaiser, by the Commercial Director West Region at ENERGO-PRO Energy Services, Mr. Bogomil Nedevski.

“It is of great importance to us to develop the products and services we offer in harmony with nature. Park Inn Hotel has a sustainable policy in this regard and the transition to using 100% green energy is another step in this direction. The “green idea” is embedded in the overall realization of the tourist product — from the lighting to the consumables we use. This is something that many of our clients value highly because it also aligns with their priorities,” Ms. Kaiser shared.

The certificate awarded to Park Inn Sofia is issued on the basis of the Guarantees of Origin published by AUER. It shall ensure that the site uses fully electricity produced from renewable sources. ENERGO-PRO Energy Services is the only company in Bulgaria that issues a similar document to its customers. Each certificate has a unique number, a fixed period of validity and is entered in a public register accessible on the company's website.

“We are pleased to see that more and more companies are choosing to operate entirely on green energy. The Park Inn Hotel is a good example of how a tourism product can be created and successfully implemented in the market following a “green” policy. The interest in the use of electricity from renewable sources in Bulgaria is still growing and we will continue to actively develop the green energy market in Bulgaria,” said Bogomil Nedevski, Commercial Director West Region of ENERGO-PRO Energy Services.
