ENERGO-PRO Energy Services has issued a certificate of supply of 100% green energy to the companies of the ERG group. The company is the largest producer of wind energy in Italy with a 13% market share in the country and has plants in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. Currently, it owns three wind farms in Dobrich region with a total installed capacity of 54 MW.

The green energy certificate was awarded to the ERG Company Manager for Bulgaria and Romania Catalina Christiana Dragoy by Yasen Obretenov, Head of Sales for Regional Customers at ENERGO-PRO. At a meeting between the teams of the two companies, the development of the free electricity market in Bulgaria and the conditions for growth of electricity production from renewable sources were discussed.

Thanks to the environmentally friendly technology of VJEC for the generation of electricity without emitting carbon dioxide, ERG contributes with its activities to reducing the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere and maintaining the ecological balance. ERG uses in its wind farms propellers with a special aerodynamic shape, which allows to exploit the lifting force of air masses above the earth's surface due to the heat of the Sun and the movement of the Earth.

In partnership with ENERGO-PRO, the ERG Group is successfully implementing the Renewable Energy Directive. The European authorities' target of reducing energy consumption by 20%, increasing energy efficiency by 20% and a 20% share of renewables in final energy consumption in 2020 is better known as the 20-20-20 plan. The data for Bulgaria show that with a target of 16% share of renewable energy for 2017, 18.2% of the country's energy is produced by such installations.
