ENERGO-PRO Energy Services built a photovoltaic power plant for Megahim in the city of Ruse
A new energy efficiency project was implemented in the city of Ruse. This is the photovoltaic power plant of Megahim AD with a peak power of 111.89 kWp, which ENERGO-PRO Energy Services built for its client. The design installation will generate electricity for the own needs of the manufacturer's sites, and in periods of zero consumption, the residual amount will be purchased by the energy supplier.
Company Megahim is one of the largest representatives of the chemical industry in the country. Operating under the brands “Decorator”, “Aquis”, “Praktika” and “Xpert”, the company annually produces more than 20,000 tons of decorative coatings for facades, interior walls, metal and wooden structures. Over the past few years, Megahim has invested more than 10 million euros in advanced technologies, production facilities and licenses. The focus is both on positioning it as a modern and high-quality manufacturer and as a reliable partner in maintaining the ecological balance. That is why the construction of a photovoltaic plant is on the list of priorities of the company.
The plant was built by ENERGO-PRO Energy Services in just one month and occupies about 700 square meters from the roof of one of Megahim's production buildings. For its construction, 334 polycrystalline modules of 335 Wp each and 2 inverters with 50 kW rated AC power were used. The energy produced on an annual basis, related to the installed capacity of the plant, is equivalent to a specific yield of 1219 kWh per installed kWp. Naturally, the solar facility is equipped with a monitoring and control system that will monitor and analyze in real time each of its parameters.
