ENERGO-PRO Energy Services built a photovoltaic power plant for Viamat Bis company in Sevlievo

The Sevliev-based company Viamat Bis already has its own power plant for the production of energy from the sun. The project was implemented with the assistance of the energy efficiency specialists of ENERGO-PRO Energy Services and includes a total of 68 monocrystalline solar panels and one three-phase inverter ABB. The photovoltaic power plant is built on the roof of the Viamat Bis production building on an area of 445 sq.m., and its annual capacity is just over 33.7 MWh. The generated solar energy will be used for the company's own needs, and the excess amount will be sold on the grid.

Viamat Bis company operates in the field of steel industry in Bulgaria and has almost ten years of experience in the production of tubular brass fittings for the plumbing industry. The company produces its products both on the territory of Bulgaria and in a number of European countries. “On the one hand, the decision to invest in our own photovoltaic power plant came in order to cover part of our energy consumption for the production purposes of our company,” said Mikhail Atanasov, CEO of Viamat Bis. “On the other hand, the environmental impact of the implementation of such a project is undeniable. We are pleased that in partnership with our electricity supplier ENERGO-PRO Energy Services we will contribute to reducing carbon emissions and leave our mark on the “green” future of our planet,” added Mr. Atanasov.
