ENERGO-PRO finances the purchase of workwear and tools for the vocational high school of electrical engineering in Gorna Oryahovitsa

Through the initiative “ENERGO PRO for society” in support of regional communities for all students of the specialty “Electricity” of PGEE “M. C. Lomonosov “, gr. Gorna Oryahovitsa, cordless screwdrivers, sets with manual electrotechnical tools and sets of protective workwear were purchased.

Yesterday, the students of the Gorno-Oryakhov gymnasium together with their teacher held an open lesson “Teaching practice in the specialty” to demonstrate work with the new means for practical classes in the electrical engineering cabinets. The event was attended by the director of PGEE “M. C. Lomonosov “, Eng. Milena Dimitrova, and Eng. Pencho Minchev, Manager of Distribution Service Center Gorna Oryahovitsa and Gabrovo at ERP North. Students demonstrated making bandages of power wires to bearing insulators using the donated equipment. Most of the young people are candidates for the internship program of the energy company of the Group — ERP North, which is successfully conducted every school year.

ENERGO-PRO for Society was launched in September last year with the main aim of supporting the sustainable development of local communities in Bulgaria. A number of projects have already been implemented in various settlements and institutions, including kindergartens, schools, libraries, foundations and others. The maximum funding that can be received by each applicant project is BGN 5,000.
