ENERGO-PRO informs the mayors in North-East Bulgaria about the upcoming changes in the work with business clients in 2020
Following its policy of open dialogue with the representatives of the local authorities in North-East Bulgaria, the ENERGO-PRO management team met with the mayors of Targovishte, Gabrovo and Dobrich. The upcoming introduction of an access fee for business customers, investment intentions and joint work with municipal administrations in 2020 were presented at the meetings. The Governors of ENERGO-PRO Varna Angel Angelov, Angela Toneva and Georgi Korshiya informed the mayors about the ongoing campaign to update the data on power provided to non-domestic customers.
Electricity Distribution North is starting preparations for a new way to price the service of providing access to the electricity distribution network in accordance with the provided and actually needed power. The goal is to plan the development of the network according to the real needs of the business. The data on the supplied capacity and their management are of decisive importance for the quality supply of electricity.
“We expect KEVR to approve the access price for non-residential customers and to start applying it from the beginning of the new price period. For the customers of Elektrodistribuenie Sever, the access price exists at the moment as a component of the final sale price for the electricity distribution activity, but from July 1, 2020, business customers will pay an access price depending on the power provided to them per day, and not as before on the basis of consumed electricity. “, commented Angela Toneva, Member of the Management Board of ENERGO-PRO Varna.
During the meetings with the mayors, the implementation of the investment program of Elektrodistribuenie North for 2019 was presented, with realized investments of BGN 2.4 million for Targovishte, BGN 3.5 million for Gabrovo and BGN 5.6 million for Dobrich. The funds were invested in the construction and rehabilitation of facilities from the electricity infrastructure, as well as the installation of modern means of commercial metering.
The managers of ENERGO-PRO Varna introduced the mayors to the company's investment plans for 2020 and presented the priority areas: improving the operation of the electricity distribution network, increasing the quality of electricity supply and reducing technological costs. Information was also provided on the readiness for work in winter conditions.
