The rehabilitation increases the security of power supply to more than 20,000 domestic and business customers of the company

The electricity distribution company serving North-East Bulgaria, ENERGO-PRO Networks, invested BGN 400,000 in replacement of equipment in substations and substations in Varna region. The project is part of the investment and renovation program of the company for 2017 and was completed at the end of December.

Within the framework of the realized investment, low-oil circuit breakers were replaced with new vacuum ones in substations Devnya, Asparuhovo and Varna Center, as well as in node stations in Varna region. In addition to the higher degree of reliability of vacuum circuit breakers and their longer service life, this type of modern equipment has better technical parameters, thanks to which their impact on the environment is minimized.

In parallel with the replacement of circuit breakers at the Asparuhovo substation, the replacement of electromechanical relay protections with digital ones was carried out. Their main advantage for customers is that they reduce the power outage time and make it possible to limit the shutdown area in the event of an accident. In addition, the new installed protections protect the substation itself, limiting the possibility of damage to the facility.

With the implementation of the project for the renovation of the facilities of ENERGO-PRO Grids, the quality and security of electricity supply to more than 20,000 households and 60 industrial customers of the company is significantly improved.
