ENERGO-PRO invested 7 million in Dobrich region in 2016

ENERGO-PRO continues to renovate facilities of the electricity distribution network in the territory of Dobrich district in this year. Investments amounting to BGN 7 million include reconstruction of electrical networks in small settlements, rehabilitation of overhead power lines, replacement of metering transformers, etc.

“In 2016, we implemented investment projects in two directions - to develop the network and to improve the quality and security of the electricity supply of our customers. In 2015, we recorded a 17% increase in new accessions in North-Eastern Bulgaria. We expect this trend to continue and that is why we are directing efforts and resources in renovation and construction of facilities,” said Momchil Andreev, Manager of ENERGO-PRO Varna.

ENERGO-PRO Networks has finalized the renovation of the air network in the Dobrich village of Polkovnik Minkovo. The reconstruction, worth more than 80,000 leva, included the installation of 42 new reinforced concrete poles and 4350 meters of twisted insulated wires, which are more resistant to adverse weather conditions. Simultaneously with the replacement of the facilities, 45 new meter panels were installed, and more than 100 were exported to the border of private property. The project is part of the ENERGO-PRO Networks investment program for 2016.

ENERGO-PRO Networks maintains and serves 42,492 km of high, medium and low voltage power distribution network. The licensed territory of the company is nearly 30,000 sq. km and covers 9 administrative districts — Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Dobrich, Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, Targovishte and Shumen.
