ENERGO-PRO invests new 125 000 leva in the project for a new center in Varna

The active participation of the company in the project of the Municipality of Varna to renovate the overall appearance of the central urban part continues

ENERGO-PRO continues to provide assistance and actively interact with the Municipality of Varna in the large-scale project for renovation of the overall appearance of the central urban part of the city. So far, the electricity distribution company has invested nearly BGN 135 000 in the renewal of part of the underground electricity infrastructure in the city center of Varna, in order to improve the quality and security of the customers' power supply and prevent the occurrence of accidents on the network, so as not to have to re-excavate the new pavement.

In the next stage of the construction and repair works, ENERGO-PRO will invest more than 125 000 leva, and the expected total investment of the company in the project is close to 1 million leva.

The upcoming activities, which the company plans to carry out in two successive stages, include the replacement of existing cable cabinets and meter boards with new, more modern and more secure facilities.

The first stage covers Nezavisimost Square, from the Stoyan Bachvarov Drama Theater to Varna Square and parts of ul. “Dragan Tsankov”, ul. “Preslav” and ul. “Ruse” in the section from ul. “Kotel” to ul. “Zamnakhov”.

The second stage includes Blvd. “Knyaz Boris I” from ul. “Voden” to Blvd. “Slivnitsa” and parts of ul. “Voden”, ul. “Petar Enchev”, ul. Mikhail Koloni”, 27th July Str., ul. “Stefan Stambolov”, ul. Marko Balabanov, ul. “Alexander Malinov” and ul. “Baba Rada”.

Repair of the pedestrian zone began on March 25 of this year. Before the start of the tourist season, ENERGO-PRO completely reconstructed and modernized the electricity distribution network, which falls under the scope of stage I of the municipal project. The company built a new pipe network with cable shafts, replaced and, where necessary, built new low-voltage cable lines on Blvd. “Prince Boris I” and part of the adjacent streets. The old distribution cassettes and electricity meter boards in the area were replaced with new modern facilities that contribute to the ennobling of public spaces in the central urban part of the maritime capital and guarantee a higher degree of security of electricity supply.

“The transformation of the pedestrian zone of Varna is an ambitious project of the Municipality, in which ENERGO-PRO actively participates through the renovation of electrical facilities. The project is implemented according to the preliminary plan of the Municipality and consists of four stages ranging from the Drama Theater “Stoyan Bachvarov” to the hotel “Cherno More” and Blvd. “Slivnitsa” in the section from pl. “World” next to Blvd. ” Maria Luisa.
