ENERGO-PRO Networks continues to upgrade sections of the air network in Veliko Tarnovo region

The ENERGO-PRO Grids technical teams continue to gradually renovate sections of the electricity distribution network on the territory of Veliko Tarnovo region. Specialists of the group for working under voltage carried out the replacement of medium-voltage insulators on the overhead power line “Hancheto”, built between the cities of Elena and Zlataritsa. The route of the power line passes through flat and mountainous terrain. In addition to supplying electricity to nearly 100 households and 8 economic users, this line is also used as a backup connection in emergency and disaster situations.

The characteristic of this replacement is that the teams worked under pressure. This means that during the repair the normal operation of the facilities is not disturbed and the electricity of the company's customers is not turned off. Working under pressure is a high-tech activity that is carried out by prepared teams equipped with specialized equipment and equipment.

Meanwhile, the technical specialists of ENERGO-PRO Networks carried out inspections on the low-voltage air network in the village of Nova Varbovka, Strazhitsa municipality, and the village of Paisii, municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa. After the analysis of the state of the network, the elimination of the identified malfunctions in the power distribution facilities began - low-voltage poles were replaced, damped and compromised by bad weather conditions.

The reconstruction of the medium-voltage power line and the renovation of the low-voltage overhead network significantly improves the security and reliability of the power distribution network in these areas. ENERGO-PRO Grids carries out regular inspections of the condition of electrical equipment in order to plan the activities for their maintenance in good technical condition. The company continues to gradually rehabilitate vulnerable sections of the network to ensure its trouble-free operation.
